Institute for welding Tuzla, in cooperation with the association for welding of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the association of Serbian welding society is organizing courses for international welding engineers and international welding technologists (IWE/IWT).
The course is organized by the program of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and by successful completion of the course, the candidate gaines the title of International welding engineer or International welding technologists (IWE/IWT).
Courses are held Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at the Institute for welding Tuzla, Bosne Srebrene br.6 – 75000.
Training can be accessed by engineers, engineers (min. 3 years) and engineering technicians, shipbuilding, metallurgy, construction, electrical engineering and mining (machine direction.).
Course takes a minimum of 446 hours for engineers and 350 hours for technicians.
After passing the exam (4 + 4 exams written exam and an oral final exam) candidates of course receives an international diploma:
INTERNATIONAL WELDING ENGINEER or
INTERNATIONAL WELDING TECHNOLOGIST
This diploma is in English and is valid worldwide.

Note:
All companies, manufacturers, workshops and construction sites to meet the basic requirements for obtaining certification according to EN ISO 3834 (EN 729) and EN 1090, must have according to the type and volume of production for the proper welding personnel according to EN 14731 (EN 719). They are mainly international engineers and international welding technologists. In larger companies and construction sites it is inevitable to have IWT and IWE. Trained personnel for welding, not only to acquire a condition to meet, as far as the certification according to EN standards, but to gain better conditions and improve the quality of the welding and competition in an ever sharper and demanding European and global market.
